7.4 Situational awareness

The fourth category of the digital competition is situational awareness. This category will be evaluated through the three preceding scenarios and through the technical report. It will be judged on how it gives information about its surroundings and the accuracy of this information. It might be clever to include information about other vessels position, heading and velocity, sea markers and the distance to land.
