# 5.3 Batteries

Njord can provide batteries for teams that cannot bring their own batteries to the competition. Njord has a number of batteries in its possesion which can be used by the teams. For using these batteries, teams can contact Mathijs, Head of competition planning, after the selection process. Batteries will be provided by the first come, first served principle. The specifications of the already owned batteries are shown below. If needed Njord can order additional batteries.
