Introduction

Welcome to Njord - The Autonomous Ship Challenge! We are proud to present this year's pilot competition, and we look forward to get to know the participating teams in the coming months.

As this is a pilot competition, we unfortunately do not have everything prepared at this point in time. We have spent the last year working towards this point, and we will continue updating and improving the resources available to teams. Our alternative was to further postpone the initial software release, however this would shorten the amount of time teams have to complete the challenge. This webpage will be continuously expanded to include clarifications and specifications. We therefore ask for your understanding and cooperation, as we are reliant on communicating with teams to make the 2021 Challenge successful.
